As the UK music scene’s interest in UK rap and grime culture develops, south London rapper Bonkaz’s musical creativity and distinctive style is paving the way for a new wave of young artists.

2015 saw the MC sign to Sony’s Pitched Up and also named one of the MTV Brand New for 2016 nominees. His single We Run The Block helped him begin to establish himself as one to watch on the live circuit and his project Mixtape Of The Year and collaboration with Chase & Status on their London Bars EP have proved his talent as a recording artist. This year, Bonkaz is set to take to the stage at a number of festivals including The Great Escape, Parklife and Love Saves The Day.
